    How to print your ABHA card as a PVC card

    1. Sign in on abha.abdm.gov.in or the ABHA app and download your ABHA card PDF.
    2. Choose the PDF in the tool above. The tool asks for a password only if the file is locked.
    3. The tool looks for the card by its shape and shows you what it found.
    4. Check the preview closely. We have not yet tested the tool on real ABHA PDFs, so the box may need moving. Open Crop not right? Adjust to fix it.
    5. Keep 600 DPI, then download the card or the A4 print sheet. Print at 100% scale.

    ABHA is not the Ayushman card

    The names are close, so people mix them up. The ABHA card is a health ID for your records. The Ayushman card is the card for the PM-JAY health cover scheme. They are two different cards with two different PDFs. Pick the right one in the tool.

    About the ABHA card

    ABHA means Ayushman Bharat Health Account. It is part of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), run by the National Health Authority. Your ABHA number is a 14-digit number. It links your health records, like prescriptions and lab reports, so you can share them with a doctor or hospital when you agree to it.

    You may also have an ABHA address, an easy username that looks like name@abdm. It is not the same as the 14-digit number. Creating an ABHA is free. You can make one with your Aadhaar number and an OTP, or with a driving licence.

    Passwords

    We have not seen a published password rule for the ABHA card PDF. If the tool asks for one, look for the rule on the page where you downloaded the file.

    Printing tip for ABHA

    The 14-digit ABHA number is what a hospital types in. Make sure it is sharp and fully inside the card before you print. All print settings are in the PVC card print size guide.
